UNDATED (WKRC) - Toyota has recalled over 100,000 top-selling vehicles.

Toyota announced the recall of around 102,000 Toyota and Lexus vehicles. According to the company, it is possible that machining debris, which may not have been cleared from the engine when it was produced, can lead to engine knocking, the vehicle running rough, the engine failing to start or a loss of power.

A loss of power at higher speeds can increase the risk of a crash.

The following vehicles are affected by the recall:

  • 2022-2023 Toyota Tundra (gas models only)
  • 2022-2023 Lexus LX (gas models only)

The company said that it is currently developing a remedy for the issue.

Owners of affected vehicles will be notified by late July.

To see if your vehicle is involved in a recall, you can visit Toyota.com/recall or nhtsa.gov/recalls and enter your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) or your license plate information.
