PITTSBURGH (WJAC) — The Pittsburgh Steelers released the team's 2024 schedule on Wednesday night as part of the NFL's schedule release event.
Pittsburgh will open the season on the road against the Atlanta Falcons.
The Steelers' home opener is scheduled for Week 3 against the Los Angeles Chargers.
One of the highlights from the NFL schedule release was the announcement that the league has partnered with Netflix to stream two games on Christmas Day.
For the 2024 NFL season, Pittsburgh will host one of those two Christmas Day games as the Steelers will take on the defending Superbowl champion Kansas City Chiefs.
Pittsburgh will also play in four primetime games this upcoming season, including two on Sunday Night Football.
Those games will be Week 5 vs Dallas and Week 7 vs the New York Jets. Both games will be at home.
The Steelers also have a Week 8 Monday Night Football game, at home, against the New York Giants, and a Week 12 Thursday Night game on the road against the Cleveland Browns.
