The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Tuesday that they have signed wide-receiver Denzel Mims to their practice squad.

Mims was drafted by the New York Jets in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

He recently spent time with the Detroit Lions organization but did not see any playing time after suffering an ankle injury during training camp.

Mims appeared in 33 games with the Jets, from 2020 to 2022, where he caught 42 total passes for 676 yards and no touchdowns.
