The Pittsburgh Steelers are parting ways with offensive coordinator Randy Fichtner, according to a team release.

"Change is a part of our business," said head coach Mike Tomlin during his press conference. "I'll acknowledge the possibility for that. We are just beginning the process of having those types of meaty discussions that usually produce changes or non-changes. It is that time of year. I anticipate those discussions happening and happening rather soon as we plot a course to move forward."

The Steelers are also parting ways with offensive line coach Shaun Sarrett and defensive backs coach Tom Bradley.

Bradley, who is a native of Johnstown and former Bishop McCort graduate, also served as a member of Penn State's coaching staff from 1979 to 2011.

I want to thank all three of the coaches for their commitment and dedication to the Pittsburgh Steelers," said Tomlin in a statement on Thursday. "They have all played integral roles in our success and I am appreciative of their efforts. Personally, Randy and I have been in Pittsburgh since I hired him in 2007, but our relationship began well before that. He has been a friend of mine for years and wish his family nothing but the best, and I am eternally grateful for our relationship both on and off the field.

Fichtner's career with the Steelers started in 2007 when he was hired as the team's receivers coach.

In 2018, Fichtner was promoted to serve as offensive coordinator, replacing Todd Haley, while still serving as the team's quarterback coach.

He served full-time as the offensive coordinator this past season, with the team finishing 12-5, including a first-round playoff loss to Cleveland.
