Questions raised over former Penn State president's on-campus book signing event

Centre Co., PA (WJAC) — Some questions are being raised about former Penn State President Graham Spanier returning to campus next week for a book signing event.

Spanier is due to be at the Penn State bookstore on campus next Wednesday to discuss and sign copies of his book, "In the Lion’s Den.”

Spanier resigned as Penn State president in 2011, and eventually served jail time as a result of the Jerry Sandusky scandal.

Spanier has maintained his innocence and is highly critical of some former university officials, and the court system, in his book.

Penn State has declined to comment on the book signing event.
