Sheriff described home as 'Swiss cheese' after video captures shooting that killed child

SAN ANTONIO (WOAI/KABB) — A 4-year-old girl died after she and four others inside a Texas home were shot in a possible targeted shooting. The shooting happened in a San Antonio neighborhood in the 6700 block of Windsor Hollow Drive Wednesday. Following the shooting, five people that were inside the home were hospitalized in critical condition - three of the victims were children, according to Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar. The 4-year-old girl who died was the youngest victim.

Giant Eagle Corporate cut ties with Vale Wood Farms

LORETTO, Pa.- A major retailer has decided to cut ties with Vale Wood Farms, choosing to no longer sell the Loretto farm's milk or products in their stores. But, now the family farm is turning to its customers for help. Giant Eagle announced it would no longer be selling Vale Wood Farms products in their stores. The company told the farm, they would only sell products from one local dairy in the county.

Johnstown Bottleworks holds winter arts camp

Local man, self-proclaimed 'world's biggest Spider-Man fan' shows off collection

Bruce Wechtenhiser says he has been collecting Spider-Man comic books and memorabilia for more than 50 years and calls himself the world's biggest Spider-Man fan. Police investigating vandalism of 'Birdman' statue on Jefferson County trail

Jefferson Co., PA (WJAC) — Brookville Borough Police are investigating the vandalism of the "Birdman" statue located along the Redbank Valley Rails to Trails. Police say the statue is located at the intersection of the Depot and Redbank Valley Trailhead. Authorities note that the person(s) responsible also stole one of the red, wooden birds off of the statue. Woman gets 2 life terms in February deaths of 2 children

BEAVER, Pa. (AP) — A western Pennsylvania woman has been sentenced to two consecutive life terms in prison without possibility of parole in the deaths of her two children earlier this year. Fifty-eight-year-old Krisinda Bright pleaded guilty Tuesday to first-degree murder charges as part of a plea agreement that spared her a possible death penalty. Authorities said Bright called police to her Ambridge home Feb. 22, and officers found 16-year-old Jeffrey Bright and 22-year-old Jasmine Cannady dead of shotgun blasts to the head.

Concerned residents seek changes after latest transgression in Westmont Hilltop S.D.

(WJAC) — Outraged parents and residents of the Westmont Hilltop School District again demanded answers from their school board following a criminal investigation that led to rape charges against a long-time music teacher that also revealed other cases of inappropriate touching dating back several years that investigators say the school district knew about. "(The school board) either don’t care about the kids, they’re incompetent, or they’re crooked," said John Mize, of Concerned Citizens of Westmont Hilltop School District.

Crews respond to early morning fire in Johnstown

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — Cambria County authorities say multiple crews responded to a house fire early Tuesday morning on the 300 block of Highland Ave in the city of Johnstown. According to the Cambria County dispatchers, the fire was reported just before 7:45 AM Tuesday. No injuries were reported, according to officials.
