'I know your face:' Man accused of threatening to shoot CamTran bus driver, JPD says

Johnstown, PA (WJAC) — Authorities with the Johnstown Police Department say a local man is behind bars after he allegedly threatened to shoot a CamTran bus driver last week. Police say the incident occurred last Friday afternoon when 20-year-old Quavonte Eggleton attempted to board a CamTran bus while not wearing a shirt, which is against company policy. According to the affidavit, witnesses told police that Eggleton was asked to exit the bus, at which time he reportedly became irate and began shouting obscenities at the bus driver.

Brockway house fire damage estimated over $100,000

BROCKWAY - The state police fire marshal, the Brockway Police Department and Brockway Fire Department estimated the fire damage to a single-story residential home at 1127 Pershing Street in Brockway Wednesday to be over $100,000. State police in Ridgway said Jamie S. Hynds, 39, of Brockway, was taken to Penn Highlands DuBois by ambulance for injuries suffered at the fire scene. PennDOT audit finds over $4B diverted from repairing roads, bridges

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WJAC) — A state audit of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has found that billions of dollars have been diverted over the years that could have been spent repairing roads and bridges. Auditor General Eugene DePasquale announced the findings of his new audit Thursday, saying that PennDOT could be further along in repairing rough highways and fixing 2,829 structurally deficient bridges had it not been forced to pay state police.

Wanted woman arrested for drug possession at Blair Co. motel

Police say on Sept. 26, officers were dispatched to the Cedar Grove Motel after receiving information about a wanted individual staying there. Police identified the wanted individual as 32-year-old Brittany Gardner, who initially provided police with her sister's name.
