Bishop McCort changing to four-day school week
Bishop McCort Catholic High School officials said the school is moving to a four-day school week for the 2023-24 academic year.
Bishop McCort Catholic High School Principal and CAO Tom Smith said the change applies to student's 7th-12th grade and staff at the high school.
School officials said school days Monday through Thursday will be extended by 50 minutes. They said school will start 10 minutes earlier and end 40 minutes later than the current schedule.
Former Sandusky prosecutor wins appeal to continue practicing law in Delaware
STATE COLLEGE, Pa (WJAC) — One of the lead prosecutors in the Jerry Sandusky child abuse case, Frank Fina, is still practicing law, in Delaware.
Fina's law license in Pennsylvania was suspended this year, after the state supreme court ruled that he engaged in improper conduct in the Sandusky case.
That ruling also triggered an automatic license suspension in Delaware, but Fina filed a federal court appeal, and recently, the court decided in his favor.

An ad posted on Twitter Friday by clothing retailer Old Navy sparked a controversy on social media. The tweet featuring an interracial family resulted in racists responses from customers vowing to never shop at the retail giant again but it also sparked a flood of positive comments from interracial families thanking Old Navy.
