HALFMOON TWP, Pa. (WJAC) — Several departments responded to a fire Tuesday in Centre County.
According to dispatch, the fire broke out at 109 Tow Hill Road in Halfmoon Township.
Officials have not confirmed if anyone was home at the time of the fire or if there are any injuries.

Search warrants reveal dozens of dead animals, animal body parts seized from Virginia zoo
ROCKBRIDGE COUNTY, Va. (WSET) — The Virginia Attorney General's Office has released the warrants for the investigation at a zoo in Rockbridge County, and what's in them is quite disturbing.
Wednesday was thefirst day of an investigation launched by the Attorney General's Office's Animal Law Unit, with help from Virginia State Police at Natural Bridge Zoo.
"We have an animal law unit that works on animal cruelty cases when requested by the Commonwealth’s Attorney or law enforcement,"

'Just one more:' Berlin boys' basketball team competing for state championship in Hershey
Somerset Co., PA (WJAC) — The Berlin Brothersvalley varsity boys’ basketball team in Somerset County is heading to Hershey to once again compete for a state title.
6 News spoke with players and coaches on Wednesday ahead of the championship game.
This isn't the first time the team has tasted chocolate town and team members say they are craving the return.

Crews battle gas station fire in Reynoldsville
REYNOLDSVILLE, Pa. (WJAC) — Emergency crews responded to a fire at a gas station in Jefferson County Tuesday.
Officials said the fire broke out at 1Stop Convenience Store on East Main Street in Reynoldsville around 2:15 p.m.
Reynoldsville Fire Chief Darren Scolese said someone was working on the furnace when the fire broke out. A fire marshal is investigating to determine if the furnace was the cause.
Scolese said the gas station was open at the time of the fire and everyone made it out safely.

USA Powerlifting must allow trans athletes in women's competitions, court rules
SAINT PAUL, Minn. (TND) — A transgender athlete won a lawsuit against USA Powerlifting (USAPL), and a Minnesota court has subsequently ruled the sports organization must allow trans competitors in its women's divisions.
USAPL had banned trans athlete JayCee Cooper from competing in its women's competitions, which reportedly led to Cooper filing a complaint with the Minnesota Department of Human Rights in 2019 and a lawsuit in state court in 2021.
2 charged in connection to Dollar General armed robbery
HYNDMAN – Two people were arrested and are facing multiple charges in connection to an armed robbery in Bedford County, state police say.
According to a release, while investigating an armed robbery at the Dollar General in Hyndman Borough earlier this month, troopers were given information on a separate incident from December about another armed robbery.
Tips and surveillance video led police to question Jared Ohler and Mary Hogamier who later confessed to the December armed robbery of the same Dollar General store.
