Leader of drug organization indicted for distributing heroin, cocaine in Blair, Cambria Co

BLAIR CO, Pa (WJAC) — According to a grand jury report, the leader of an area drug organization has been indicted for distributing heroin and cocaine throughout Blair and Cambria counties from March 2017 to July 2020. Authorities say 40-year-old Jonathan Delacruz, as well as two female associates, face charges of operating a corrupt organization, violating the controlled substance/drug act, criminal conspiracy and criminal use of a communication device. Investigators say Delacruz made more than $1 million distributing the drugs in and around Blair and Cambria counties.

PHILADELPHIA, Pa (AP) — John Chaney, one of the nation's leading Black coaches during a Hall of Fame career at Temple, has died. He was a commanding figure on the court and admired as much for his mentoring of players as for the team's success. He became a de facto father to dozens of his players, many coming from broken homes. Chaney led Temple to 17 NCAA Tournament appearances over 24 seasons, including five NCAA regional finals.

Water main break disrupts businesses, tourist attractions in Atlanta, other areas

ATLANTA (AP) — A water main break has interrupted water service and led to low water pressure in the city's downtown and other parts of Georgia's capital.
