More than a dozen homes were damaged in a six-alarm fire Monday night in Easton, Pennsylvania.

Fire crews responding to the scene found a fire burning in three of the row homes, and that fire quickly spread.

"We had a crew right around the corner. When they got here, they had fire showing in three dwellings and it just went the whole block."

At least 15 homes were damaged by the fire, either by the flames or by smoke.

"It's absolutely a large fire. So, we had probably 15 row homes that were involved as far as the count goes. It’s unheard of here in Easton; it’s unusual for sure."

All residents were evacuated unharmed.

However, five firefighters of the more than 200 that responded to the scene did suffer minor injuries battling the blaze.

A shelter has been opened nearby for those displaced by fire.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
