Some popular activities are:
Picnicking: Enjoy one of the pavilions that overlook the lake. Grills are available throughout the area
Boating: On the 198-acre Lackawanna Lake, you will see many people canoeing, kayaking and rowing. Don’t have your own? Boat rentals are available at the boat concession near the swimming area.
Fishing- Some common fish are: trout, muskellunge, walleye, channel catfish, bullhead, pickerel and large-mouth bass.
Hunting- Over 900 acres are open to hunting, trapping and the training of dogs during established seasons.
Hiking/ Mountain Biking- Over 15 miles of trails through forests, fields, lake-shore areas and woodland streams
Camping- the campground is located within walking distance of the lake and allows pets at designated sites. Forested sites, electric hook-up, flush toilets are available. The Swimming pool is a popular feature for campers and park visitors.
Sledding- fresh snow on the ground? Head to the Hilltop Pavilion for some sledding.
Ice Fishing- most of the area is open to ice fish.
