State police say a Duncansville woman is behind bars in Bedford County after she allegedly hired a man in an attempt to kill her wife and her wife's family.

Investigators say they reportedly uncovered messages between 43-year-old Heather Dibert and Zachery Sellers, of Lewistown, in which Dibert allegedly offered money and drugs to Sellers in exchange for him burning down a home in Napier Township where her wife was staying with family members.

Police say the messages with Sellers reportedly began after Dibert was charged, on October 18, with threatening to kill her wife's father following an alleged altercation.

According to the affidavit, on October 28, authorities responded to a reported house fire at the home in question, which is located along Tulls Hill Road in Napier Township.

Investigators say evidence reportedly showed that the fire started when a Molotov cocktail was thrown onto the porch of the home.

Police noted that Dibert's wife, along with five other family members, including multiple children, were inside the home at the time of the fire.

Upon further investigation, police say authorities learned that Dibert had become upset with her wife after learning that she was reportedly planning to leave her.

Police say Sellers allegedly admitted that Dibert showed him the home and told him, "kill them all."

Authorities also noted that Dibert allegedly drove to West Virginia in an attempt to have an alibi for the attempted arson.

According to online court records, Dibert was arraigned Wednesday afternoon on several charges, including 18 counts of conspiracy to commit aggravated arson, solicitation of criminal homicide and aggravated assault and conspiracy to commit murder.

She is being held at the Bedford County Jail on $1 million bail.

Court officials say Sellers is scheduled to be arraigned in the case later this week.
