GREENSBURG, Pa (WJAC) — State Police arrested a man on Saturday in connection to an armed robbery at the Greensburg Walmart, according to a news release.
Troopers charged Christopher John Hilty, 31, with robbery and other related charges in connection to the incident, which occurred Friday night.
Authorities say Hilty entered the customer service area at the Greensburg Walmart, just before 9 p.m. Friday, and displayed a handgun to the clerk.
Hilty then took an unknown amount of cash from the register and fled through the parking lot towards Route 30.
He is currently being housed at Westmoreland County Jail en lieu of $10,000 bond, according to court dockets.
