RICHLAND TWP., Pa. -- There's a possible "gas war" between Sheetz, the Giant Eagle "Get Go" and BP along Scalp Avenue in suburban Johnstown.

The three competitors lowered their gas prices nearly 20 cents this past weekend making the cost around a $1.68 per gallon.

According to Gasbuddy .com's daily survey, the average price for a gallon of gas in Pennsylvania right now is a $1.87.

The three gas stations were very busy on Sunday and Monday.

6 News contacted all three gas stations regarding the apparent "gas war," but no returned our calls.
