BEAVERDALE - A Cambria County man remains in jail after police said he called them to his home and threatened them.

Daniel Locher, 31, of Cedar Street, is charged with terroristic threats, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct as a result of the May 24 incident.

Police said Locher called them last month after finding a woman inside his home trying to steal food.

But police said Locher, who previously was wanted on a warrant for domestic relations, swore at them when they confronted him and ran away before barricading himself in his house.

Police said Locher eventually came out and led them on a short chase.

After he was arrested, a criminal complaint said Locher told police he was going to buy a high powered rifle when he gets out of jail and the shoot the arresting officer and others in the head.
