Authorities in western Pennsylvania are asking for the public's help in identifying a "person of interest" in a fatal shooting that occurred last week in the New Kensington area.

Police say on Thursday, October 19, officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of Kenneth Avenue for a report of a victim with a gunshot wound.

Investigators say the victim, identified as 31-year-old Troy Vickers Jr., was transported to a Pittsburgh-area hospital where he later passed away, on October 21st.

Authorities say no arrests have been made and the New Kensington Police Department, as well as Westmoreland County detectives, are continuing to investigate.

Detectives are asking for assistance in identifying the above pictured individual, who was reportedly riding a bicycle in the area on the afternoon of the shooting.

Anyone with information is asked to contact New Kensington police at 724-339-7533, or the Westmoreland County Detective Bureau at 724-830-3949.
